ENVIZION IT / NONPROFIT IT SERVICES

Nonprofit IT Services for West Michigan Organizations

Your organization has important work to do, and technology should help make that work easier. We help West Michigan nonprofits support their people, solve everyday IT challenges, and plan for what comes next. Whether you need an IT team, additional support for your existing team, or help with a specific project, we're here to help.

Technology should help your people get things done.

An account that needs access. Files that are difficult to share. A computer or connection that keeps interrupting someone’s day. Small technology problems can take time from people who already have plenty to do.

We help you understand what needs attention, resolve everyday issues and plan practical improvements.

People and access

Help with accounts, devices and access as people join, change responsibilities or leave your organization.

Communication and shared information

Support for Microsoft 365, email and shared files so your team can find information and work together.

Reliable connections

Help with networks, wireless connections and access between your office and remote team members.

Planning and priorities

Cybersecurity belongs in the conversation.

Accounts, email, devices and shared information need practical layers of protection. We help you understand existing safeguards, identify gaps and decide which improvements deserve attention.

Pay for the support time you use.

We bill for actual support time, with no monthly support subscription or minimum support hours. Support labor is billed monthly after the work is provided.

We forecast anticipated support needs to help you budget, then review actual usage with you. The forecast is an estimate, not prepaid support or a minimum commitment.

We also look for recurring problems and worthwhile improvements that could reduce unnecessary support work.

Software, licensing and other technology products and services may have separate recurring costs and terms. Those expenses are separate from support labor.

FROM OUR CASE-STUDY LIBRARY

Helping a nonprofit team work across locations.

Our published Kids Hope USA case study describes how we helped address remote access, communication and shared information needs.

The work included moving email to Microsoft 365, moving shared files to SharePoint and improving phone communications. The story also describes documentation and standardization to support the organization’s technology.

This historical case study offers one example of how an organization’s needs can shape the work.

A little extra help for smaller nonprofits.

Lakeshore Technology Assistance (LTA) is a separate program for qualifying nonprofits with 1–15 computers. Our general nonprofit IT services aren't limited to LTA participants, so we can help you explore the right approach for your organization.

Questions about nonprofit IT support

Can you become our nonprofit’s IT team?

Yes. If you don’t have a complete internal IT department, we can help manage and support your technology. We begin by understanding your environment and agreeing on the responsibilities you need us to handle.

Can you work with our existing IT person or team?

Yes. Through co-managed IT, we can add capacity, experience or project assistance while your internal team keeps the responsibilities it wants to own.

Can we start with one project?

Yes. We can discuss a specific project without requiring you to hand over your ongoing IT support. We review the goals, dependencies and scope to determine whether we’re a good fit.

Does paying for time used mean you only fix things when they break?

No. We also help maintain, document, improve and plan your technology. Usage-based support billing does not mean waiting for problems before doing useful work.

How is support billed?

We bill monthly for actual support time used, with no monthly support subscription or minimum support hours. Software, licensing and other technology products and services may have separate recurring costs and terms.

Do all nonprofits qualify for LTA?

No. LTA is a separate program for qualifying nonprofits with 1–15 computers. Having that number of computers does not automatically establish eligibility. We can help you explore LTA or our general nonprofit IT services.

Where do you provide nonprofit IT support?

We serve organizations throughout West Michigan from our Zeeland and Kentwood offices. Remote or in-person assistance depends on the situation and the work involved.
